SECRET OF THE MONTH - September & October

HIDDEN JEWISH SYMBOLS IN THE 23rd CENTURY:

Michelangelo's passion for secretly using Jewish mystical symbols continues even in modern pop culture. Recently, in an interview shown on Jerusalem Post online (www.jpost.com), actor-director Leonard Nimoy revealed that he was the inventor of the famous "Live long and prosper" Vulcan hand salute for the cult phenomenon TV series "Star Trek". When he had to come up with a gesture of blessing for his character, Mr. Spock, he remembered the ancient hand shape of the Cohanim (descendants of the High Priests of the Holy Temple of Jerusalem) when blessing the people. The hand is shaped into the Hebrew letter shin, for the word "Shalom", or Peace.

Peace, according to the ancient sages, is the blessing that contains all other blessings. Apparently, this mystical wisdom applies to other planets as well.
Michelangelo put a similar hand-shape into his breathtaking statue of Moses... along with another amazing piece of Kabbalistic symbolism. Read Chapter 16 in The Sistine Secrets to find out what it is!
